Inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s belief that character should matter more than skin color, I wanted to create a piece that carried deeper significance. During my creative process, I discovered a powerful quote by Nigerian poet Michael Bassey Johnson: “I don’t fancy colours of the face, I’m always attracted to colours of the brain.” This message profoundly resonated with me and became the heart of this artwork.

Techniques used
