James Kingman

About

James has been expressing himself creatively since he was old enough to hold a crayon, much to his mother’s dismay (the walls in his childhood home suffered).

Since then he has put the crayons down (only to pick them back up from time to time) and sought to make his mark in illustration and animation. His first job was at New York based creative studio ‘Surround’. Gaining experience with TV spots for Comedy Central, Motherload and animations for Playboy TV.

From then on he has been honing his skills across as many platforms of design as possible. From screen to print to hand crafted and the occasional tilted head, chin scratching, James has grown into an absolute lover of total design and the crafting of great ideas.

James also has a blog called Beta Love which he uses to collect and document sources of inspiration. Beta-Love is also an acronym he works under for non-commercial projects and personal work.
